  • Parole is the conditional release of prisoners before the full completion of their sentence. It is designed to create a smoother, more organized process for transitioning back into mainstream society. Parole allows individuals to leave incarceration before serving the full term of their sentence, providing they agree to adhere to specific rules and obligations set during their parole hearing.

  • No. Some sentences do not allow for the possibility of parole. In cases where parole is an option, it can still be denied due to behavior during incarceration, prior criminal records, the severity of the offense and other factors.
